All rooms are very spacious, comfortable and bright, with private balcony, TV and air-conditioner. Guests are provided with their own set of keys to enjoy complete freedom of access, with no curfew nor lockout. We offer an excellent breakfast, the use of our computer or Wi-Fi connection, free parking and free garage, if it’s booked in advance. We will make sure that you fully enjoy your stay with us without having to worry about anything. To cook your meals, you can either reserve our kitchen for free or we can recommend a wide selection of take-away food places, pizzerias, typical Sicilian restaurants and so on. For a very special dinner, just let us know what you are looking for and we will organize and book everything for you. We want you to have the greatest time possible in Sicily and we would be happy to spend our free time to share with you our extensive knowledge of our Region. This is the reason why our guests tend to extend their stay with us: because they feel at home and taken care of.
The B&B is situated in Giarre, in the wonderful Taormina-Etna district at the base of Mount Etna Volcano, between the cities of Taormina and Catania, and only 2,5 km from the sea. Coppola’s movies “The Godfather - Part I, II and III” (the saga of Italian Mafia boss Don Vito Corleone - Marlon Brando -, his son Michael Corleone - Al Pacino - and their family and mobsters) were shot not far from here because of the beautiful landscapes and because at that time there was a real Mafia war between Palermo and Corleone. On demand, we organize cultural/naturalistic tours to wildlife reserves, castles, villas and all the external locations of the Godfather saga, plus the tasting of the typical “granita”. Giarre is very well-connected with the highway, the railway, the Circumetnea touristic train, and with buses. We are located in a quiet central part of the town, in front of a fully-licensed supermarket, just 1 Km away from the railway station, and at a walking distance from the nearest restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops and other facilities. Public transport is a good way to get around, as we are well-served by both public and private buses.
Our B&B has a friendly, fun and intimate atmosphere which will offer you an unforgettable stay in a place with style and design... your home away from home. We love travelling and we know what it is like to travel on a backpacker's budget, which is why we have negotiated discounts and special offers at local places for our guests. We also organize weekly events such as late dinners, pub crawls, day trips, visits to the markets, walking tours, and more! Don't hesitate to ask us for suggestions to find the best places to eat, drink or to pay a visit to, and for detailed directions to get there. We love to spend time with our guests, answering any question about Sicily, such as what sort of food is typical in each area and where to eat it, and the particular charms of each attraction. Our extensive knowledge of the area will help you to see as much as possible in a short time and we will always try to help you, in any way we can.
We always try to improve and offer the best to our guests, however we are not able to satisfy all possible needs. So we do not recommend you to book:- If you are minors unaccompanied by parents or groups of under 20s. - If you want to organize a stag/bachelor or drinking/drugs party. We and the other guests love to sleep during the night! - If you need the reception to be open 24 hours a day, as in hotels, to check you in at any time. In our B&B you can check-in just by mail/phone. - If you carry animals of any kind. Unfortunately we are not equipped to accept animals. - If you want to pay by cheque or credit cards. ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE IN EURO CASH AND UPON ARRIVAL. - If you wish to smoke in bed, anywhere inside the room, or in the bathroom. Throughout the house it is not allowed to smoke, but you can freely do so in the spacious balconies all rooms are equipped with. - If you wish to have a sea view from your room and the beach or a disco in the main square just outside the B&B. We are located about 500 meters from Piazza Duomo in Giarre, in a very quiet and well-served area, and about 2,5 km from the sea. All rooms have views on the street parking, except for the breakfast room and the kitchen that have views of the garden and the Mount Etna.
